I recently dug up this footage I shot in 2001 at the Travel Inn, a seedy low budget motel on Sunset Blvd. in 2001. It was for a short film I made at the time about the characters that stay there. Now that the Travel Inn is long gone, this footage is an historical document. Sunset Blvd is rapidly changing and hopefully it won’t all turn into expensive hotels, ugly apartments and nondescript office buildings. Shot on 16mm with a Canon Scoopic.
